The Society meets monthly from September to May. In order to make maximum use of the hall booking, the meetings planned for 2009–10 will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. and finish by 9:30 p.m. at the latest. The building work at St George’s Hall is now complete and meetings will be held there once again in 2009–10. The hall is in George Street, Dumfries, and parking there is not usually a problem. The typical meeting might be: 7:00 Announcements and business matters 7:15 Speaker’s presentation 8:15 Questions and discussion 9:00 Coffee, chat and any other business The Programme page currently has details of meetings for the year 2008–09 and will be updated for the new year as details are confirmed.
