The Society meets monthly from September to May. The meetings normally start at 7:15 p.m. and finish by 9:30 p.m. at the latest. Because of building work in progress at St George’s Hall, the meetings in 2008–09 will be held in St George’s Church Lounge, George Street, Dumfries. The Lounge is across the road from the Church Hall above the foyer of the Church itself. Parking in George Street should not be a problem even with the building work going on.
