Officers and Committee for 2009–10
At the AGM in May, Mansour Gemie indicated that, because of pressure of work, he did not wish to be considered for the office of chairman and he is succeeded by Raymond Suszek. There were no other changes of office for the coming year and they remain as follows.
- President: Mark Toner
- Secretary: Klaus Schiller
- Treasurer: Lindsey Mason
- Librarian: Neil Booker
- Webmaster: James Foster
- Newsletter and leaflet editor: Rachel Findlay
Committee members Nigel Sheridan and Mike Perry will oversee matters concerned with the proposed observatory.
Programme for the year 2009–10
Dates for the ordinary monthly meetings for September 2009 to May 2010 are given below. All dates fall on a Tuesday, except for 14 January, which is a Thursday. The meetings will be held once again in the St George’s Church Hall, as the renovation work there is now complete. Because of other demands on the hall, we can no longer stick to the regularity of having the second Tuesday in the month.
